My name is William. I’m a Ph.D. candidate studying nuclear engineering at North Carolina State University. My research focuses on modeling multiphysics effects in nuclear power reactors using Exascale computing. I spend most of my research time solving the neutron transport equation on unstructured meshes using the Summit supercomputer.
When I’m not working on research, I’m probably hiking. The photo on the right is my dog, Annie, and me in Grand Teton National Park. I’m also interested in computer science and software development and you can find some of my experiments detailed in my blog or on my GitHub.
